WISH (WOMEN AND INFANT SERVICE FOR HEALTH)
WISH is a women-centered, outpatient substance use treatment program designed specifically for pregnant and parenting women, including those working toward family reunification. Our mission is to support women in recovery while caring for their children and rebuilding families. Insight understands women have unique needs and experiences, so we offer gender-specific and trauma-informed recovery services to support those needs.
WISH offers care under trained Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialists (LCAS) who have experience working with women during critical moments of their recovery.
WISH is located in Winston-Salem, but as a part of our extensive wrap around services we will address transportation needs in order to access treatment. Insight is committed to reducing common barriers to treatment like transportation and childcare. We can provide on-site child watch in our state-of-the-art Children’s Care Center, so the mother can be assured her child is safe and cared for while receiving services.
Many women are motivated to engage in recovery during pregnancy and early parenting, so it is our highest priority to get women started in services as soon as they are ready. We will provide same day intakes whenever possible, with or without a referral. We will meet the mother at whatever stage she is in her recovery journey. It is our goal to reduce the stigma around seeking help for substance misuse. Our services are completely confidential and nonjudgemental.
We’re here to support women and families for new beginnings.
We offer a continuum of care tailored to each woman’s needs:
